Hello everyone!
This version implements a few new features and touches slightly on gameplay.
The project has entered a very experimental phase, so expect bigger more tangible things in future updates.
Been experimenting with new systems, spellcasting additions and the character creator.
The character creator will likely be the next update. It will be based on this creator I did while conceptualizing Circa 2k.
I've also been trying out names, and I'm narrowing on something that capture the essence of the game.
Here's what to expect:
- Added a quick melee attack (kick), usable with the right mouse thumb button.
As of right now it only pushes objects and damages the NPCs, the idea is to ragdoll them to give you a little breather. - Movement is now slightly slower, you're able to toggle sprinting with Left Alt, and pressing Shift will make her jog.
This brings the game closer to my vision, a balance of sorts between HL1 and Unreal 1998. - Added a costume menu that allows you to change her attire with available options you'll pick up in your adventures. (there's one to find, close by where the demo starts.)
You can access this menu through Options - Game - Character Creator.
The second costume was made in a day, so there's still lots of clipping and it's far from done. - As always, stuff i forgot.
