Project Arcane

Thank you for checking out this early demo (I guess) for Project Arcane. 

A nameless project I started as a side venture to unwind, whilst still making use of my skills; inspired by classic fast-paced shooters like Half-Life and Unreal 1998, with a Victorian twist and fantasy elements.

There isn't much to do, but you can have a peek. 

The Current State is:

Arena: The demo features the default UE4 FPS arena.

Character: Play as an agile Prowlkin, ready to explore her movement and combat abilities.

Combat: Basic combat with punching, casting fireballs and shooting a handgun.
You also have some very basic enemies to fight with.

Movement: Experience fluid movement with jumping, sliding and air dashing.

Future Plans: 

This is just the beginning. As I continue developing this, future updates will include:

Expanded Arenas: Explore richly detailed, Victorian-inspired environments.

Enhanced Combat: Unlock a variety of spells and weapons, each with unique effects.

Story Integration: Delve into the main character's backstory and her quest for revenge against the person that wronged her.

Advanced Movement Mechanics: Implement advanced movement options like wall-running and bunny-hopping. 

New Features: Introduce an inventory system, spell quickslots, and more to enhance gameplay depth.

Character Personalization: Personalize her appearance with various armor and outfit options to your liking.

Updates might come slowly as this is not the main project I'm working on. Either way,thank you for joining this journey!

Changelog:

• Added some very basic enemy AI that you can damage;
• Added a dynamic crosshair that changes depending on the weapon held (fists and handgun as of now);
• Added a crosshair specific to casting. If the player is holding a spell it will show up. 
• Like always, assume I forgot something.
